Hot air balloon ride Bled
A peaceful hot air balloon ride Bled and its surroundings is a great pleasure for everybody with stunning views of the Julian and Karavanke Alps. Flying over the Bled Castle , beautiful valley with Sava river winding down the valley, small villages and overflying the oldest Golf course in Slovenia which was build for the times of King Karadjordjević in 1937. Some say that it is the most beautiful Golf course in Europe. Before the flight, you will see the preparation of the balloon for your flight and if you would like, you can participate under the supervision of our crew.
Flight
When we arrive on our take off place we start setting up the balloon. If you would like you can assist us in doing this under the supervision of our crew. Hot air balloon ride Bled starts over the Bled down towards Lesce and Radovljica. You will have beautiful and stunning views of the Triglav National Park, Julian and Karavanke Alps, the Sava river Valley with its tiny villages, dense forests of Jelovica Plateau.
After the flight
When the hot air balloon ride Bled is over, we pack the balloon and have a traditional »Ballooning Ceremony« with a glass of Champagne. This tradition is from the times when they started to fly balloons here. With this Ceremony you get the Honorable Titles of Baroness or Baron of the area where the balloon was flying over. After the Ceremony we take you back to Bled to pamper you with Original Bled Cream Slice and a coffee, tea or any other refreshing drink. While you are enjoying your morning treat we handwrite the Certificates for you so that you also have a nice written memory about obtaining your noble status.
Duration
Normally it will take about 4 to 4 ½ hours of your time. Sometimes we can compact the programme in order to suit you if you are tight with your schedule.
